March 24, 2022 Suicide Alertness for Everyone (safeTALK) prepares community members to be suicide alert helpers in only a few hours. Participants can take a vital step in linking those who experience suicidal ideation with caring community members who are trained in suicide intervention skills. Those who take the training will learn about the "TALK" steps: Tell, Ask, Listen and Keep Safe and how to apply those steps when someone is at risk.
CEU’s: Credit for 2.5 (General) CEU’s has been approved by the NASW-LA Chapter. No partial credit is available.
